One Million Pound Investment

The investment of this amount of money in the UK, and keep it here for a least 5 years, will allow you to live in the UK, supported by your own funds. Permanent residence is granted at the end of the 5 years.

The following conditions apply, - you will not be able to take employment but you can be a director or shareholder of a company, but not hold any working position ; you must be able to show that your funds are not borrowed, and that they are fully under your control and able to be transferred to the UK without restriction ; You must intend to make the UK your main home, but see below

Two Million Pound Investment

£2 million investment will enable you to live in the UK without the need to maintain the UK as your main home, but permanent stay is unlikely to be granted until you have spent 5 years here in which the UK has been your main home. Up to £1 million of the £2 million may be borrowed funds for this application.

Retired Persons of Independent Means

Applicants will be age 60 or over, and have a close connection with the UK, which is usually a close family relative settled in the UK - a son or daughter, brother or sister. You will have a guaranteed private income of at least £25,000 per year which will be from pensions, return on investments, property income or any other source except ongoing employment. You must be able to live here and support your spouse/partner without working or conducting business.
